Elise has worked with children and young people in vulnerable communities for two decades across New South Wales and Victoria. Elise is one of the leading TLSW practitioners in Australia and has piloted and been the lead in multiple TLSW programs since 2013. Elise has contributed to various publications, delivers diploma and professional development training, and has also given workshops and talks at multiple international and national conferences, university lectures and forums. Elise provides supervision to professional TLSW practitioners and students across Australia and New Zealand. In 2019, in conjunction with TLSW International, Elise established, and is the current chair of Therapeutic Life Story Work Australia, which aims to ensure the fidelity of TLSW and provide high quality support to qualified practitioners and students. Elise believes that all children should be given a safe space to make meaning of their lived experience.
